Air Force Chief of Safety empowers women at Tinker AFB
Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, Department of the Air Force Chief of Safety and the Air Force’s first female fighter pilot, met the all-female E-3 crew from the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, who flew the Women’s Heritage flight March 10. In addition to an all-female flight crew, the maintenance crew at Tinker AFB and refuelers from McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, were all females as well. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kimberly Woodruff)
