AWACS PRIDE flight honors diversity and inclusion
A nearly all LGBTQ+ aircrew from the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base participated in an E-3 Airborne Warning and Control Systems training sortie on June 23 to celebrate diversity and inclusion and honor LGBTQ aviators as they build an inclusive environment for everyone to thrive. The crew included mission support, maintenance, mission crew and flight deck personnel and they trained along with their command and control counterparts from the 729th Air Control Squadron, 552 ACW, stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. This was the first Pride flight of its kind for Tinker AFB. (Air Force photos by Kimberly Woodruff)
