Tinker senior airman, Waxahachie native, supports Sentry maintenance effort for deployed AWACS unit
Senior Airman Daniel Shoemaker, an E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft electrical and environmental systems journeyman deployed with the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron?s Sentry aircraft maintenance unit at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia, places a ventilation hose on an E-3 during operations at his deployed base March 1, 2010. As an electrical and environmental systems journeyman, Airman Shoemaker inspects, troubleshoots and maintains aircraft electrical and environmental systems, subsystems, components and associated test equipment.
