Santa visits the 552nd Air Control Wing children Published Dec. 9, 2008 By 1Lt Kinder L. Blacke 552d Air Control Wing Public Affairs 6 Dec 2008 -- Children of the 552nd Air Control Wing received a special visit from Santa Claus Dec. 6 when he flew in on an E-3 Sentry for the annual 552 ACW Children's Christmas Party. Santa was greeted by Col. Pat Hoffman, 552nd ACW Commander, along with a crowd of excited children and their parents. Each child met with Santa to share their Christmas wish and upon leaving, received an E-3 imprinted ornament as a gift from one of Santa's elves. The party included various crafts and games sponsored by the 552 ACW squadrons, several raffle prizes, a buffet of holiday food and sweets, a bouncy castle, and a Christmas obstacle course.
