ALI AB, Iraq --
Airmen in the 552nd Air Control Wing are notorious for doing excellent work, and Staff Sgt. Christine Griffith, 46th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, is continuing the tradition downrange at Ali Air Base, Iraq.
She and two other Airmen were coined by Lt. Gen. Gary L. North, air component commander, U.S. Central Command, for Outstanding Performance on April 23.
Back at Tinker, Sergeant Griffith is the client support administrator for the 552 ACW command post. "She ensures all command and control systems are operational for the wing's command post -- supporting ACC, AFMC, and NORAD emergency actions," said Lt. Col. David Brien, chief, 552 ACW command post.
While deployed, she is performing similar functions for the 46th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, Colonel Brien said.
Also present to recognize the exceptional Airmen were five of the Tuskegee Airmen, who came down from Joint Base Balad, Iraq to visit Ali AB and tour the Predator site.
