Chief Master Sergeant Michelle T. Browning is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 552nd Air Control Wing, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. In this position, Chief Browning advises the commander on the health, welfare, morale, mission effectiveness, and proper utilization of more than 4,360 men and women responsible for Air Combat Command's fleet of E-3 Airborne Warning & Control System (AWACS) aircraft and ground-based Control and Reporting Centers (CRC) supporting combatant commanders worldwide. She is the commander’s primary advisor on all enlisted issues. Her focus is on taking care of the Airmen, so they can take care of the mission of the Air Force’s only integrated Air Battle Management Wing.
Chief Browning grew up in Newark, New Jersey and entered the Air Force in Dec 1993. Her background includes various duties at the Flight, Squadron, Wing and Headquarters level. Her experience encompasses Mortuary Affairs, Food Service, Honor Guard, Lodging, and Fitness. She has served as the Command Chief Assistant and Career Assistant Advisor Functional Manager for Air Combat Command. Her deployments extend to Operations, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, OPERATION JOINT FORGE and IRAQI FREEDOM.
