A memorial service was held at the Tinker Chapel Nov. 25 for Senior Airman Donovan White from the 963rd Airborne Air Control Squadron.Airman White, 22, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Veterans Day.The chapel was filled with family and friends, there to say their final goodbyes and to comfort one another.The eulogy was given by his friends

First Sergeant Rebecca Edwards, with the Oklahoma Army National Guard, admires the statue which was made in her honor during the Women’s Veterans Monument unveiling at Patriot Park in Del City Tuesday. The monument features five women, representing each military branch, holding hands to show sisterhood. Committee members wanted to not only depict women in the five main military branches, but also Citizen-Soldiers in the National Guard. Commanders and chiefs from the 552nd Air Control Wing compete in the push up competition during the Chief and Commander Physical Fitness challenge at the base track Oct. 27.
